Fee Structure
Fees: (fees are discounted from the full fee rate recommended by the Australian Psychological Society).
Standard Fee: $230
Individual supervision and consulation: $230 / hour (please email for group rates)
Referrals:
It is not necessary to have a referral to see a psychologist. However you may be eligible for a rebate if assessed by a GP and a Mental Health Care Plan is developed.
Medicare:
Rebates can be claimed from Medicare if you have a GP referral and are currently $137.05 per session.
To obtain the Medicare rebate you will need a referral from a Psychiatrist, GP or Paediatrician who writes a Mental Health Care Plan for psychological services. Usually this allows for 10 sessions per calendar year. These sessions can also be delivered via telehealth.
Medicase rebates can be processed after your session on site, private health fund rebates need to be processed by sending your invoice to your private health provider.
Private Health Funds:
Please note: Rebates vary with private funds, so please check with your provider to confirm the rebate amount and if clinical psychology services are covered by your Private Health Fund.
Cancellations
Do consider attending your appointment even if you are feeling emotionally bad as research shows that people benefit the most out of therapy if they attend sessions regularly.
As with most businesses, cancellation fees reflect the time set aside for the session. 24 hours notice should be given for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments or a cancellation fee will be charged.
Medicare and private health fund rebates do not apply to missed appointments or cancellation fees. Please text or phone on 0410 973 365 during business hours.
Sickness
Please request a telehealth session or reschedule if you are feeling physically unwell.
