Anoushka Rassau
Clinical Psychologist
Clinical psychologist with 30 years of experience
Anoushka has lived in Western Australia for 30 years. She has been working as a Clinical Psychologist with adults, children and teens since she completed her formal psychology training in 2002 with a master’s degree in clinical psychology.
Her approach blends evidence-based therapies with a deep respect for each person’s lived experience, identity, and nervous system. Anoushka is trained in EMDR, Schema Therapy and DBT. She is an accredited EMDR practitioner and a consultant in EMDR, who supports other therapists beginning their EMDR training. While these are her go to treatment approaches, she also has training in CBT and ACT. She is a Psychology Board of Australia registered Supervisor.
Anoushka has a focused interest in trauma and its impact on the way we relate to each other. She is keenly aware that trauma is not limited to events like war, but that patterns of hurt in relationships can have a similar impact on people. Helping people understand this process and how it continues to impact them day to day is a key part of the healing journey.
